Books on Baby – Not yet added to our store
OK we said we weren’t into parenting advice, this site is about logistics…so these are books that helped us a little along the way in managing our new life as parents. Each book has its merits and downfalls, see our posts for longer discussions on this. We can say that we do not fully agree with any bestselling author, but if you combine a few and make your own “parenting salad” so to speak, you can find a few tricks that work.

No Cry Sleep Solution – Elizabeth Pantley – this is the best sleep book, written for the widest audience of all parenting styles and beliefs
The Baby Sleep Book, The Discipline Book, The Family Nutrition Book - Dr William Sears. We generally love Dr. Sears and his wife Martha, but sometimes the advice would seem to work best in a perfect world, which ours is not, so we take mostly from these folks their attitude of gentle parenting.
Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn – Ann Keppler et al. We recently tried to get an in-person appointment wih parenting and sleep guru Ann Keppler, only to find out she is headed on sabattical, what a disappointment, but anything she writes or class she teaches is worth the money, time and travel if necessary.
